This year Untouched World New Zealand broadens its geographical horizon making its ethical and sustainable men’s and woman’s clothing available to a new UK audience, inspiring a change to the way they view and care for the planet. The Untouched World Charitable Trust was established in 2000 after 2 years research into how the most difference could be made beyond the reach of the business, with profits from Untouched World operations. The key focus of the foundations activity is centred on education - environmental, new sustainability developments, social and cultural issues – providing young adults with a unique learning experience. In May 2007 Untouched World became one of twelve global exemplars working with UNESCO in Bonn on developing a strategy for Corporate Education for sustainability. Late last year Untouched World was the first fashion company in the world to be given permission by UNESCO to carry the United Nations Decade of Education for Sustainable Development Education (UN DESD) logo on its labelling – one of a small number of organisations internationally accredited as an exemplar in Corporate Education for sustainability
