They’re currently working towards certifying all their cotton organic and Fairtrade, and all of their clothes are dyed using safe and natural dyes. They source as many products as they can locally, choosing natural and recycled products over toxic, synthetic and non-biodegradable materials
People Tree works with Fair Trade groups in 20 developing countries, helping people from some of the world’s poorest communities to use Fair Trade to escape from poverty. As well as paying their producer partners a fair price, they also offer advance payment and commit to regular, ongoing orders. They work closely with their partners to support them in developing design and technical expertise, and also fund social welfare and environmental projects around the world such as schools, hospitals and tree-planting schemes
