Our Standard delivery service uses a combination of Royal Mail First Class Packet Post and a signed for courier service. We endeavour to despatch orders received before 12 noon the same day (weekdays only). Where orders are placed at a weekend or on an English bank holiday, they will be treated as if received the morning of the next working day. You should receive your order within 1-3 days (with the exception of a small number of remote postcodes). Please note that this service may require a signature to be given on delivery.

Our Guaranteed Next Day delivery service uses a combination of Royal Mail First Class Packet Post and a signed for courier service, and will be despatched the same day for delivery the following day for orders received before 12 noon (weekdays only and with the exception of a small number of remote postcodes). This service is charged at £5.50 regardless of order value up to £100. Please note that this service requires a signature to be given on delivery.

On Orders over £100 we will despatch using our Guaranteed Next Day Service free of charge. Where orders are placed at a weekend or on a bank holiday, they will be treated as if received the morning of the next working day. 

Please ensure that you have chosen a delivery address that will be able to accept your delivery when it arives. Your delivery may arrive by courier and it will need to be signed for. If our courier can not hand the parcel over at the designated delivery address they will leave a card to let you know that a delivery has been attempted. If you would like for a re-delivery to be made to the same address please telephone the courier using the number on the card.  If you would like for a different address to be used please telephone Adili Customer Services on 0845 3881 381 (9am-5pm Monday - Friday) so that we can arrange this for you.  If your card has been left by the Royal Mail simply follow the instructions on the card to arrange re-delivery or to collect your parcel. Courier deliveries will arrive between the hours of 9am-5pm Monday - Friday.

We are unable to accept orders where the full address information has not been supplied. If you are unsure of your postcode please check against either Royal Mail's free Postcode Finder: http://www.royalmail.com or use the 'Free Postcode Finder' service at: http://www.postcodeanywhere.co.uk/.

Please also note that for first time orders where the billing and delivery addresses differ we will place a phone call with you to verify that your card is not being used without your knowledge - this is for your own protection.

Returns from within the UK are FREE for a limited period only. If you find that you need to return an item for an exchange or refund you really have nothing to worry about - You just need to use the FREEPOST return label supplied with your invoice and hand the parcel over at your local Post Office.  Please be sure to ask for a Proof of Posting Receipt when you hand the parcel over to the Post Office.  We can not be held responsible for for items that fail to reach us without a Proof of Posting Receipt.

Customs Information

When ordering goods from Adili.com for delivery outside of the European Union, you may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied once the package reaches your country. Any additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country, so you should contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, please note that when ordering from Adili.com, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.

Generally, customs forms for international packages will list the value of the contents of your order by product type. For instance, orders containing Clothing or Toiletries will generally be listed in a way similar to the following example: Clothing value £32 or Toiletries value £45.

Your privacy is important to us and we know that you care about how information about your order is used and shared. We would like our international customers to be aware that cross-border deliveries may be subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.

If the order is a gift, the package is marked "Gift" but the cost of the item is still stated on the customs form. Customs authorities require us to state the value of the gift item directly on the package.

Packaging Information

After researching the environmental impact of alternative packaging options, Adili has decided to use LDPE mailing bags which are 100% recyclable and these are printed using environmentally friendly water-based inks.

There are LDPE mailing bags which claim to be made of partly recycled materials, but Adili has been unable to obtain authoritative evidence of the composition of such bags and the provenance of the recycled content.

We did consider the use of degradable polythene. However, there are issues with these bags potentially being mixed with LDPE recycling and in extreme case (e.g. the manufacture of motorway crash barriers) there are dangers in such mixed recycling where the resultant structure could be weakened. We also have been unable to find evidence that degradable bags actually disperse into harmless biological material despite enquiries made of the suppliers of these bags into this matter, and there is an absence of independent research.

We also considered paper and cardboard packaging - these appeared to offer little additional benefits in terms of recycling potential and carried significantly higher cost.

Our bags can be recycled through Local Authority Recycling Schemes, or alternatively, if posted back to Adili, we will ensure that the bags are recycled for you.
